Refund policy
We want you to be happy with your order. If you need to return an item, please read the policy below carefully before sending anything back.
Returns
Returns are accepted in accordance with UK law.
You may return an item within 7 days of purchase, provided that:
- the product is unopened and unused
- any seals remain unbroken
- the item is in its original packaging
- any packaging that forms part of the product, such as gift boxes or boxed sets, is also returned in its original condition
Please keep the original packaging until you are sure you want to keep the item.
Return postage
The customer is responsible for return postage costs.
Returns must be sent using a tracked postal service. We recommend keeping proof of postage until your return has been received and processed.
Changes and cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes or cancellations once an order has been processed.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will confirm whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
If returned goods show signs of use, damage, or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, we reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.
Non-refundable items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- gift vouchers
- opened or used items
- products with broken seals
- items not returned in their original packaging where that packaging forms part of the goods
Damaged goods in transit
We take great care when packing orders, but occasionally items may be affected during delivery.
Minor damage
Items with minor transport damage that does not affect the use or quality of the product will not be refunded or resent. This includes situations such as:
- damaged outer boxes
- torn shrink wrap
- minor leaks
- cosmetic bottle damage
Where the item is still usable and at least three quarters of the contents remain, no refund or replacement will be offered.
Major damage
If goods arrive significantly damaged and the damage affects their appearance, quality, or use, compensation will be assessed individually depending on the situation.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at office@thenailmastershop.com and include:
- your order number
- clear photographs of the parcel and damaged item
- a brief description of the issue
Items returned outside the return period
If you wish to request a return outside the return period stated above, please contact us and we will review the matter in line with your statutory rights.
Failure to take reasonable care
If returned goods have not been handled with reasonable care, we reserve the right to refund less than the full amount in order to cover any loss in value or costs associated with repair or damage.
