Description

Gigasept® Instru AF concentrate is used for manual disinfection and cleaning of thermostable and thermolabile instruments of all types (with the exception of flexible endoscopes). It can be used in ultrasound baths and instrument washing machines (with cold water).

Due to the wide spectrum of microbiological effectiveness and excellent cleaning performance (especially in ultrasound baths), Gigasept® Instru AF has all the essential properties required for the processing of medical instruments in hospitals and medical offices. [EC 0297]

Instructions for use:

Gigasept® Instru AF instrument disinfectant is supplied in concentrated form. It can be easily diluted in water to obtain the concentrations given in the table provided by the manufacturer. Cavity bodies must be immersed in the solution in such a way that the air comes out completely from the lumen. All surfaces must be covered with solution.

Do not exceed the recommended contact times and concentrations.

After the contact time has expired, rinse the disinfectant objects well with running water.

Due to its optimal cleaning power, Gigasept® Instru AF should not be combined with other cleaning products.

Use for ultrasonic disinfection:

The instrument disinfectant Gigasept Instru AF is particularly effective for use in ultrasonic equipment. The chemical stability for this application has been scientifically proven.

Tests have shown that excellent cleaning results can be obtained with Gigasept Instru AF instrument disinfectant even after a contact time of only a few seconds.

The solution must not be exposed to temperatures higher than 40 degrees.

Microbiological action:

Bactericidal (including M. Terrae), fungicide according to the new DGHM guide, effective against capsulated viruses (including HIV, HBV, HCV), effective against viruses (Rota-virus, Papova-virus, Adeno-virus, Helicobacter Pylori, MRSA) , complies with the new EU standards.

When cleaning in ultrasonic baths: effective against bacteria, fungi, encapsulated viruses (incl. HIV, HBV, HCV).

The Gigasept Instru AF working solution is active for 7 days.
