French Angled Brush (4.1 mm - 8.5 mm) - The Perfect Smile Line
This angled brush is the ultimate tool for creating French manicures,
being ideal for both professional technicians and enthusiasts working
at home. Due to its asymmetrical shape (short part 4.1 mm and long part 8.5 mm),
the brush perfectly hugs the curvature of the nail, ensuring an extremely
clean and well-defined smile line. It is specially designed for working with colored gel, painting gel
or semi-permanent nail polish.
Smile line asymmetry (Hand tremor): Drawing a French with a thin brush (liner)
requires advanced technique and a very sure hand. This slanted brush acts
as a stamp/guide: the long side draws the “whiskers” of the French tip towards the folds, while
the short side automatically defines the curve, eliminating asymmetries.
Unsightly loaded tip (Broken Blick): A common mistake is applying
too much color, resulting in a thick French tip that wrinkles in the lamp.
Our integrated technical warning encourages unloading the brush, guaranteeing a smooth design
that does not destroy the nail architecture.
Interrupted lines: The precisely angled hair absorbs the ideal amount of pigment,
allowing the curve to be drawn in one fluid movement.
Features
Universal Versatility: The flexible yet firm fibers are perfectly compatible with both
the viscosity of semi-permanent nail polish and the density of painting gels.
Ergonomics: Makes the technician’s work easier, halving the time spent on the French design.
How to Use (French Technique with Oblique Brush)
To achieve a flawless French in one stroke, follow this technical guide:
Prepare the material: Place a small amount of colored gel/white nail polish on a palette.
Load the brush: Gently move the oblique brush through the material.
The Golden Rule (Unload): Do not apply too much product to the brush! Gently wipe the excess on the edge of the palette. An overly loaded brush will create a thick, uneven smile line that risks not curing on the inside.
Drawing the Line:
Position the long part of the brush (8.5 mm) towards the corner of the nail (the French mustache).
Draw the curve towards the center of the nail, using the oblique shape of the brush as a natural template.
Repeat the movement on the opposite side to join the smile line in the center.
Corrections (If necessary): Wipe the brush with a dry tissue and use it clean
to refine or thin the curve of the smile line from the inside, gently pushing the material.
Polymerization: Dry in the lamp and seal with Top Coat.
Tech Tip for Maintenance:
To extend the life of the brush and keep its oblique cut intact,
clean it at the end only with a transparent base (Base Coat) or a transparent gel,
wiping it gently with a lint-free tissue. Avoid the abuse of cleaner or
acetone, as these solutions dry and tangle the hairs!
