Pro Tip for Technicians:

Since the instrument is metal, it is crucial to adapt the pressure compared to a wooden stick. When using the beveled end, hold the instrument at a very small angle (as close to the nail as possible) and work with gentle movements to avoid scratching the nail plate. When using the pointed end to clean the lateral grooves, always direct the tip parallel to the nail, never perpendicular to the living tissue, to prevent puncturing the fold.
